About Me

Hi there! I'm Diana and I would be honoured to photograph your special event or occasion.

For those of you who know me, you probably know that I was a scientist before I became a photographer. I graduated uni with my super-nerdy Chemistry degree and went on to work as a contractor Chemist moving about in all the different sectors and industries from being a pharmaceutical lab rat at Pfizer to FIFO life analysing mineral samples for BHP and lots of weird and wonderful roles in between. I left the world of Science behind to pursue photography full-time but thats not to say that I didn't love my career. I loved being a scientist but what I love more is being a business owner and pursuing my passions without the constraints of a full time job.

Hiring a photographer is one of the most personal decisions you'll make in choosing someone to document your important life events. You're choosing someone who will be in charge of telling your story, capturing moments that you would have otherwise missed if you had not taken a step back to observe the moment rather than being IN the moment. Its wonderful to reflect and experience with my clients all the stories that Ive photographed over the years and I humbly thank all those who have entrusted me to create incredible moments with them.

I started off taking beautiful landscapes with the colourful sunsets and sunrises of Perth, dipping my toes in astrophotography following the milky way in dark, deserted, arid regions of Western Australia and chased storms and lightning shows with my adventurous crew. I fell in love with fine art portraiture and newborn photography inspired by many great artists and continue to develop my own style. My work is heavily influenced by natures beauty and my love of the great outdoors. It's been an exciting journey thus far as my photography style constantly evolves and grows over time. There is nothing more satisfying than creating and capturing beautiful, dramatic, stunning images and turning it into a timeless piece of art that my clients can enjoy for a lifetime.

If you love what you see and want me to photograph your story please feel free to reach out and get in touch with any questions, I would love to hear from you!
