Bree & Kyle had a beautiful backyard wedding on the weekend with some country charm. The outdoor ceremony was held on family property where guests witnessed their vows in the open air and were treated to a beautiful sunset dinner reception and danced the night away under the stars and festoon lighting. 

I was so excited to find out this elopement would be held at the end of the Busselton jetty. I had never been to the end and I heard about the life size whale paintings on the jetty floor! (Of course we had to capture this by drone) We rode the train to the end where Iris & Aiden exchanged vows 2km out in the ocean with a small group of friends and their favourite tunes playing on the speakers. It was a perfect day and a perfect mix of love, adventure, sun, sand and sea. What more could you want?

I've photographed a few small weddings and elopements at Kings Park, its one of my favourite places for several reasons, one being there's always something interesting and new to find here as the seasons change. Surrounded by  trees and fresh air I have many fellow nature loving couples drawn to this place so accessible and close to the city. 

The Secret Garden is one of those places you read about in fairytales but here it is right in the middle of suburbia tucked hidden away and just like Alice in Wonderland you'll feel like you've fallen down a rabbit hole into quite a different world. You can just imagine the Cheshire cat grinning away in the trees as they exchanged vows under the hanging vines, birds and crickets chirping on this fine summers morning.
